The Phazer hits all the marks when searching for a great sub-ohm tank. Easy to fill and even easier airflow control, the Phazer is perfect for most vape mods between 30-70 watts.
- Awesome price tag
- Great airflow ability
- Can handle lower ohm coils well
- Top-fill cap is extra
- Rather tall tank
Apollo Phazer is one of the most sought-after vape tanks. Despite its late entry into the market, its popularity is growing at an impressive rate. This is because it allows vapers to have an exceptional vaping experience. This sub-ohm tank similarly produces more delicious flavor and bigger clouds than other tanks in this category. It is emerging as the most impressive product in Apollo’s iconic line of clearomizer tanks. With the recent update that this tank has undergone, the new top-fill funnel design has become one of the easiest tanks to refill.
This sub-ohm tank has an array of interesting coil options, which will surely impress. This goes a long way in enhancing flavor and overall vapor quality. The tank can be a good buy if purchased alongside Apollo’s equally impressive V-tube 5. This is a 50-Watt tube mod that compliments this vape tank in my past reviews.

Apollo Phazer sub-ohm tank has a diameter of 22mm and a wattage range of 15W-70W. Its exterior is fashioned from stainless steel and glass, something that gives the tank an exquisite appearance. The exterior features an adjustable airflow vent, which has large rectangular slots.
Apollo also incorporated a distinctive cooling drip tip, which is entirely made of steel and glass. The tank’s capacity is 3.5ml. It is compatible with 0.2ohm coils, which have a wattage range of 30-70W, and 0.5ohm coils that have a wattage range of 5-50W. The coils are manufactured from pure organic cotton.
Apollo Phazer Build Quality and Stylish Design
Judging from its outward appearance, this is obviously an elegant looking tank. It is attractively streamlined, something that makes it attractive all the more. The tank’s good looks are accentuated by its steel and glass drip tip, which is cleverly crafted to include two material layers that help keep excess heat away from the mouth.
Apollo Phazer’s construction allows it to be stripped down for cleaning purposes. The top-fill lid separates easily from the reservoir and with a rigid edge its easy to turn without turning the whole tank. Besides this, its airflow adjustment ring feels firm but nonetheless, can be conveniently adjusted without the whole tank turning with it. The coils also have a vape juice flow control feature.
Apollo Phazer’s Vaping Experience
When you use the pre installed coil that has a wattage range of 15-50W, you will notice that the coil gets saturated quite fast. In as much as the preinstalled 0.5ohm coils have a minimal wattage rating of 15, it is virtually impossible to get any vapor from the tank at that level. When the wattage rises to 20W, you will start getting some vapor.
You need at least 30W for you to really get some good flavor out of your juice. With the 0.2 coil and at around 50 watts is this tanks sweet spot, especially with a juice ratio of 70%VG or higher.
Pros and Cons
- Easy to disassemble and refill.
- Has a good airflow.
- The tank’s build quality is impressive.
- Uses a lot of vape juice
- Heats up too quickly when using the 0.2ohm coil.
This is undoubtedly a brilliant ohm tank. It produces a lot of vapor and is extremely well built and simply creates a solid overall vaping experience. It is also easy to use and with the newly updated top-fill ability ( and the fact its indented down making filling ridiculously easy) this is easily one of the best tanks for vaping under 70 watts we have tried.back to menu ↑
