The Aspire Triton 2 has truly helped preserve the Aspire brand name. This updated version keeps the few good things from the first one and tacks on many solid features you want out of a great vape tank. This sub-ohm is perfect for vaping around 25-40watts with the 0.5 coil but is versatile enough for a 0.15ohm coil for temp control fans.
- Great for sub-ohm beginners
- Maximum airflow ability
- A wide range of coil compatibility
- Max wattage 50w
- 3ml tank – on the small side
The release of Aspire Triton 2 was seen as a follow-up of the highly successful Aspire Triton tank. Despite its popularity, the inaugural Aspire Triton Tank attracted a fair share of criticism and negative reviews. This was due to its unappealing design, and a refilling system that was prone to leakages. In addition this, it was relatively more expensive than other sub-ohm tanks on the market. This tank came out of the gate with one foot in the ground. Thankfully Aspire went back to the drawing board and built a tank that has turned out to be one of the best vape tanks in the recent months to come out.
The introduction of Aspire Triton 2 vape tank has elicited excitement due to the incorporation of various unique features. This sub-ohm tank boasts a highly efficient top filling system and also has a shorter height. Besides this, it is easy to entirely disassemble the tank. The presence of new 0.5 ohm coils makes the new version of the sub-ohm tank much more impressive on the vapor production scale.back to menu ↑

With the introduction of the new ohm tank, customers can now give it a second look since it retails at a more affordable price than its predecessor. Much easier on the eyes than the first one, the Triton 2 not only looks better, but it is way easier to fill and now can handle many different ranges of atomizers.
Manufacturer’s Specs and Other Features
The vape tank has a diameter of 22.5mm while its tank capacity is 3.0ml. There are two adjustable airflow vents measuring 12mm x 1mm on each side. It also features a 0.5 ohm coil, while its power output varies between 20W to 45W. Each unit of this ohm tank has a bigger surface area than the previous version, thus more efficiency. The vape tank’s stainless steel construction which incorporates Japanese organic cotton and high-quality glass equally enhances vapor flavor and production.
Aspire Triton 2’s predecessor attracted criticism due to its irremovable glass tank section. This meant that juice always got trapped between the glass and the tank section. In addition, breaking or cracking the tank section meant that one had to buy a new unit. The inclusion of a spare glass tank section similarly means that you won’t be forced to purchase a new vape tank in case the original tank section cracks or breaks. The Triton 2 can be fully disassembled and cleaned.back to menu ↑
Despite its relatively smaller build, the new vape tank performs incredibly. The manufacturer incorporated an airflow control ring, which controls the flow of air in and out of the vape tank. The tank works optimally when the power input is around 40W. Juice flavor may get a little subdued if the input falls to less than 25W.
Pros and Cons
- You can fully disassemble the entire unit
- It is available at a relatively affordable price
- Top notch vapor production
- Has an impressive coil lifespan
- Replaceable drip tips
- Juice refill holes could be bigger
- It has a lesser capacity than its predecessor
Aspire has managed to create an impressive vape tank despite its smaller size. In as much as Aspire Triton 2 vape tank may not be the best in the market, it is in a class of its own. Aspire obviously built it basing on the few strengths of its precursor, and listening to their fan base and adjusting accordingly. I personally liked the original Triton but I was on a short list, however, with the Triton 2 after roughly two of using it I went and bought two packs of atomizers – this tank is that good!back to menu ↑
