How I Switched To Electronic Cigarettes
I had tried to quit smoking many times. I tried going cold turkey, the patch, the gum, hypnosis, the pill, and even a mild form of shock therapy using a rubber-band on my wrist. I could not quit. I hated cigarettes, but I did not have the willpower to quit using them. I felt weak and depressed. But when I found electronic cigarettes, everything changed.
I literally cannot smoke cigarettes anymore. I cannot stand the smell of a cigarette. If the driver in front of me is smoking, I can smell it. I can smell cigarettes everywhere now.
I can smell a lot of things since I switched to electronic cigarettes. I smell the rain, the coffee in the morning, and mushrooms in the yard.
Once in a while I will grab a cigarette from a friend and try to smoke it. I can't get more than 3 drags before I trash it. It is gross, and I hate them. I guess I do it to prove to myself that I have finally quit. Before I started using e-cigs, a test like that always ended with me smoking again. Now, it makes me sick and glad I have an electronic cigarette.
Almost everybody I know who uses e-cigs, either uses them exclusively or smokes 60%-90% less. These kind of numbers are UNHEARD OF compared to any quit smoking method I know of. (Disclaimer: e-cigarettes are not a stop smoking device)
The biggest gap between an e-cigarette and a normal cigarette is the fact that a normal cigarette has a distinct burnt tobacco taste and “hit” that smokers associate with the satisfaction of smoking. It is hot, burns the throat, fills the lungs, and feels good upon exhale.
Electronic cigarettes, on the other hand, have a clean and cool hit that is soft on the lungs and is designed to satisfy your nicotine cravings, not your cravings for smoke.
It might take a few different types of e-cigarettes and several different e-juice flavors, but once you find your favorite e-cig and e-juice, you have a good chance of kissing your cigarettes goodbye!
My Step-Dad told me about e-cigarettes and how they helped him quit, and he has tried repeatedly to quit smoking to. So i decided to try one and see if it was worth it.

In 10 days, I didn't get any of my money back! They continue using their e-cigarette to this day.
There are many reasons and ways to quit smoking. Some people use medications, patches, gum, hypnosis, and some quit smoking cold turkey. There are many good ways to stop smoking and I recommend that you try as many methods as you can to help you quit. E-cigarettes are not a stop smoking product and only offer an alternative to smoking.
